| Personal History | Kenneth was born to two college Professors Ernest and Karen Hunt. Even at a young age his parents saw the potential and drive that Kenneth wanted to be part of Starfleet, so when he applied and was quickly accepted that was no surprise to them. Through his Academy years, Kenneth maintained a GPA and focused his studies in the security/tactical field. But deep down his main goal was to one day command a ship of his own. Upon graduating 9th in his class, Hunt was assigned to the USS Alabama to serve as tactical/security. Quickly impressing his Chief, Kenneth found himself promoted qualifying for a promotion earlier than expected and recommended for the Assistant Chief Security Officer position on the USS Alamo. On the Alamo he found himself with a Chief of Security who operated very differently then himself. The man was extremely cautious and disagreed with Kenneth's ways of jumping in head first. The two butted head for his first few weeks on the job, but after a long conversation one day with the Chief, Hunt decided to try in cooperating the Chief's line of thinking in order to make himself a better officer. The Lieutenant carried on duties and impressed the senior staff with his professionalism and creative solutions on away missions. But in 2371, the USS Alamo was in a battle with a Romulan warbird and after winning the battle found itself in badly damaged needing to be towed back to the Utopia Planetia Shipyards. It was during this time, it was reported that the ship would need a minimum of six months for repairs. At this time most of the crew were reassigned. With there being a need for an Assistant Chief Security/Tactical Officer aboard the Ermiana, Kenneth was immediately reassigned to this new positing. Before arriving to the Ermiana, Hunt was sent to Starfleet Academy for a few weeks to the Advanced Tactical School. With this added to his resume, he received a promotion to full Lieutenant. Over the next two years, Hunt studied under the Chief Security/Tactical Officer learning everything that he could. When an open came up on the USS Kumari, Kenneth requested the assignment and was picked for the assignment. During this time, Starfleet was dealing with the Klingon Empire who ended the Khitomer Accords. Since the Dominion War took place, Kenneth found himself involved in several assignments for Starfleet behind enemy lines. When a position for Chief Security/Tactical Officer opened up with a promotion on Starbase Pegasus, he gladly accepted the assignment. After the Dominion, Kenneth Hunt remained posted on Starbase Pegasus for the next couple of years. During this time, he took on several classified missions which took him away, but in no time, he found himself back home. Realizing that he ended up putting his own career on hold, Kenneth decided to accept an assignment on a Starship and accepted the role of Strategic Operations Officer and Second Officer on the USS Endeavour. His time on the Endeavour only lasted for a few months, and he found himself transferred to the USS Demert returning back to security/tactical. After a year on this assignment, Kenneth found himself reunited with Kimora Reeves, who had transferred on board. A little over a year later the two were married and not too long afterwards, they were expecting a child. In 2385, when a position aboard Helvetia for Executive Officer came open Hunt put applied for the position with the goal of taking his career to the next level. |
